Job description
Presidio is at the forefront of a global technology revolution, transforming industries through cutting-edge digital solutions and next-generation AI. The Senior Solutions Architect will be responsible for developing engineering solutions for customer projects related to network, data center, security, and collaboration, while collaborating with various internal teams.
Responsibilities:
• Develop high-level technical solutions and present to customers (Hardware, Software, Licensing, Professional Services)
• Collect business and technical requirements
• Complete end-to-end, full lifecycle network designs
• Drive whiteboard conversations
• Craft customer facing presentations
• Delivering technical presentations and product demonstrations
• Generate hardware configurations (BoM)
• Write statements of work (SoW) and develop Professional Service pricing utilizing Presidio tools
• Ability to self-pace and self-set direction in a team environment to drive business
• Work with Account Executive/Extended Sales Teams to develop customer relationship and solutions and assist in overall sales process
• Maintain and develop technical and technology specific skill sets and certifications
• Become the client’s ‘trusted advisor’ and help drive their long-term technology strategy
• Establish strong interpersonal relationships with the internal sales teams (Account Management, Business Development Managers)
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience
• 7+ years of experience, which demonstrates a significant level of expertise in enterprise class network and security solutions
• Experience as a Pre-Sales Engineer
• Expert-level knowledge and experience with design, implementation and support of one or more of the following: Complex routing and switching solutions (Cisco, Juniper, Aruba), Next gen firewalls/VPNs (Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, etc.), SSE and SASE technologies, Automation (Catalyst Center, Apstra), Observability/Monitoring (ThousandEyes, Splunk, Datadog), Data Center switching/segmentation solutions such as Cisco ACI and VMware NSX, SDWAN solutions such as Cisco (Viptela), Aruba (Silverpeak), Palo Alto (Prisma), Fortinet, Cisco/Meraki, Mist, or Aruba Wireless, Cloud Service Delivery, Cloud Networking
Preferred:
• One or more of the following certifications: CCDP/CCNP/CCIE and other non-Cisco certifications
• Advanced or Expert level industry certifications
• Experience in a Value-Added Reseller (VAR) environment
