This position is located within the Sales Department of 365 Retail Markets and reports to the Director of Sales. The Account Executive is responsible for executing sales strategy, initiating contact with existing and potential customers, identifying needs and selling appropriate merchandise to meet those needs.
Responsibilities
  • Manage assigned accounts.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships and partnerships with your accounts.
  • Provide world-class client service.
  • Unearth new sales opportunities through networking and turn them into long term partnerships.
  • Respond to complaints and resolve issues aiming to customer contentment and the preservation of the company's reputation.
  • Call prospective customers and establish buying cycles, customer needs, and create a customer supplier relationship.
  • Increase sales in respective accounts across all 365 product lines.
  • Prepare sales information for customers.
  • Establish buying influences, budgets and purchasing criteria for assigned accounts.
  • Secure and place orders, taking into consideration delivery dates and inventory levels for fulfillment.
  • Establish and share best practices across customer portfolio to maintain and grow business.
  • Determine pain points of current and potential customers and drive solutions using their pain points to drive value-based solution selling.
  • Understand competitive offerings and strategies to determine best offerings and solutions to win business.
  • Work with internal teams to get things done to drive sales.
  • Establish scheduled customer cadence to do wellness checks, gather forecasting and drive additional solution offerings to grow business.
  • Participate in appropriate customer events and shows to win additional business at existing customers and drive business at new customers.
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly and yearly sales goals.
  • Meet or exceed diversification goals (products, customers).
  • Timely and accurate submission of forecasts and other required activities.
  • Prudent management of expenses and timely submission of expense reports.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 5+ years sales experience, preferably within the POS, foodservice or vending technology industry.
  • Direct experience with Salesforce.com or another CRM platform.
  • Must have a genuine interest in helping people and excellent negotiation skills.
  • Ability to perform with a high degree of independent judgment, discretion, and confidentiality; and make complex decisions within a short period of time.
  • Superior interpersonal and telephone communication skills.
  • High level of proficiency with office computers and Microsoft Office software.
  • Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, organizational, and presentation and demo skills.
  • Demonstrated high accountability of providing accurate forecasts and sales results throughout career.
  • High energy, passion, strong ethics, professional, responsiveness, technical sales skills, self-motivated and ability to talk/present at level appropriate for audience.
