Summary:

In this role, you will lead complex data and financial analytics initiatives that drive strategic decision-making and measurable business outcomes. You will manage high-impact projects, apply advanced modeling techniques to large and diverse datasets, and partner with senior leadership to evaluate and improve business processes. You will deliver customized insights, influence executive decisions, and guide team members in applying best practices to support organizational priorities and client needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead complex data and financial analytics projects with moderate risk and resource requirements.

  • Deliver customized analyses using internal and external structured and unstructured datasets.

  • Apply advanced statistical and financial modeling techniques to large data sets.

  • Identify gaps in reporting and analytical processes and implement improvements.

  • Evaluate business processes and recommend strategic enhancements in partnership with senior leadership.

  • Influence executive decision-making through clear presentation of data-driven insights.

  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings to gather requirements and assess current business processes.

  • Develop professional recommendations and present preferred courses of action to leadership and clients.

  • Guide and mentor team members on analytical methodologies and best practices.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal leaders and clients to align on desired outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree (e.g., Data Analytics, Finance, Supply Chain, Business, or related discipline) preferred. Advanced degree desired.

  • 7 or more years of relevant experience required.

  • Advanced proficiency in data analytics, financial modeling, and statistical analysis techniques required.

  • Experience with healthcare supply chain analytics, including knowledge of key supply chain metrics (e.g., cost savings, utilization, contract compliance, and performance benchmarking), required.

  • Experience leading cross-functional analytics initiatives and working with large, complex datasets from multiple sources required.

  • Strong technical proficiency in analytics, visualization, and AI-enabled tools such as SQL, Python, R, Power BI, Tableau, machine learning frameworks, and generative AI platforms.

  • Demonstrated ability to present complex analytical insights to C-suite and executive leadership and influence strategic decision-making.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong project management and organizational skills.

  • Willingness to travel.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $77,400.00 to $135,400.00.
