Executive Protection Specialist The Simon Agency Operational Readiness Network (ORN)

Location: Los Angeles, CA

Work Arrangement: Independent Contractor (1099) or W2 Employee | Assignment-Based

License: Simon Protection, Lic. #121322

Travel: Local, Domestic, and International Travel Opportunities Based on Operational Requirements

Compensation: Competitive, assignment-based compensation commensurate with experience, qualifications, client requirements, and operational scope.

Position Overview

The Simon Agency is seeking experienced Executive Protection Specialists to become part of the Operational Readiness Network (ORN)โ€”a carefully selected network of protective professionals strategically positioned throughout our licensed jurisdictions to support executive protection operations for corporate executives, public officials, legal teams, family offices, and other highโ€‘profile clients.

ORN was established with a single objective: ensuring qualified professionals are identified, vetted, credentialed, and operationally prepared before they are needed. Members of ORN are considered for assignments based upon client requirements, operational needs, qualifications, licensing, geographic location, and availability.

This is an ongoing recruitment initiative designed to build and maintain operational readiness. Qualified applicants may be considered for current and future assignments as opportunities arise.

Primary Responsibilities

Depending upon client requirements and assignment scope, Executive Protection Specialists may be responsible for:

  • Executive and dignitary protection
  • Protective advance planning
  • Protective intelligence support
  • Executive movement coordination
  • Corporate executive security
  • Political executive protection
  • Executive travel support
  • Protective site assessments
  • Venue liaison and coordination
  • Security coordination with law enforcement, venue management, and client representatives
  • Incident documentation and postโ€‘assignment reporting
  • Representing The Simon Agency with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment

Assignments may range from singleโ€‘day protective details to extended domestic or international travel support.

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants should possess one or more of the following:

  • Executive Protection experience
  • Federal, state, or local law enforcement experience
  • Military service
  • Corporate security experience
  • Highโ€‘profile event security experience
  • Dignitary protection experience

Applicants must also possess:

  • Exceptional professionalism and integrity
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent situational awareness
  • Sound judgment and decisionโ€‘making abilities
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Valid driverโ€™s license
  • Legal authorization to work within the United States
  • Ability to travel as operational requirements dictate
Preferred Qualifications

Preference may be given to applicants possessing:

  • Current state security licenses (must have)
  • HR218 / LEOSA credentials (where applicable)
  • CPR / AED certification
  • Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC/TCCC)
  • EMT or Paramedic certification
  • Protective Intelligence experience
  • Protective advance planning experience
  • Incident Command System (ICS) training
  • International executive protection experience
  • Valid passport without travel restrictions
  • Foreign language proficiency
