Job description

Overview
A Shelf Electrician is responsible for the maintenance of electrical equipment on platforms, including motor controls, batteries, relays, VFDs, generators, and power transducers. This role also involves performing electrical isolations, calibrating equipment, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
  • Maintenance of electrical equipment on platform including motor controls, batteries, relays, VFDs, generators, power transducers.
  • Electrical isolations.
  • Calibration of equipment.
  • Regulatory compliance (USCG and MMS).
  • Assisting in the development of Electrical maintenance plans.
  • Strict adherence to all safety standards.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • 4+ years' electrical maintenance experience in the oil and gas industry.
  • Valid TWIC card.
  • Offshore oil and gas production platform experience.
