How you'll contribute

A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role:

  • Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needsย 
  • Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventionsย 
  • Provides care appropriate to the condition and age of the patientย 
  • Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical recordย 
  • Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patientย 
  • Performs timely and accurate quality improvement (QI) assessmentsย 
  • Administers medications and treatments safely and accuratelyย 
  • Collaborates with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team membersย 
  • Educates patients and families on treatment plans and recovery goalsย 
  • Promotes patient safety and participates in quality improvement initiativesย 

What we're looking for

Applicants should have a current state RN license and a degree from an accredited nursing program (BSN, ADN, or Diploma). Additional requirements include:

  • CPR/BLS certification requiredย 
  • ACLS certification preferredย 
  • CRRN certification preferredย 
  • Minimum six months of Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting preferredย 
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skillsย 
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environmentย 

Schedule

3x12, Days ย (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), rotating weekends
