Full Time| Monday-Friday 8:00AM-4:30PM| 100% Onsite|

Job Purpose or Objective(s): The Commerce Infrastructure Manager's role is to manage a geographically distributed team and overall operations to ensure the stable operation of our IT infrastructure. Provide a complete technical architecture; this includes developing important departments, network infrastructure, server infrastructure, data communications, and telecommunications systems. You will report to the IT Senior Manager of Infrastructure Development.

Primary Tasks:

  1. You will develop and implement short and long-term strategic plans, in collaboration with executive management, to ensure data and telecommunication infrastructure capacity meets requirements.
  2. Develop all important IT infrastructure including Virtualization, Servers, Storage, Switches, Load Balancing, Firewalls, and Networking.
  3. Implement and deploy Windows and Linux-based systems to support our goals including pre-production and production areas.
  4. Negotiate with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure infrastructure-specific products and services.
  5. You will perform other tasks including patching, maintenance, and administration of systems to meet the requirements of the business and goals of the team.
  6. Schedule and direct activities to resolve hardware and software problems in an accurate fashion.
  7. Assess latest Infrastructure Security vulnerabilities and implement corrections.
  8. Assess staff performance and provide coaching.
  9. Uphold policies for acquiring information technology systems.
  10. Perform other tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Technology or equivalent combination of education and 4 years related experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in Data Center and managing 5,000+ users
  • Expertise in two or more technology domains (network/infrastructure, collaboration, cloud, data, and applications/middleware) but fluency in all technology domains.
  • Demonstrated expertise in several soundness disciplines (TOGAF, recovery and availability, security) and operational disciplines (systems management, change management).  
  • Demonstrated expertise in cloud computing, security, virtualization, network, identity management, data storage, and disaster recovery.
  • Leadership skills - servant leadership, collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation skills.
  • 5 years of infrastructure/architecture management experience.
  • 5 years experience working with large scale LAN/WAN technology.
