Job description

Overview DecisionPoint Corporation is seeking a Test Engineer (Mid-Level) to support our U.S. Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) Integrated Booking System (IBS) program.This role focuses on functional, system, and integration testing of applications built using Angular (TypeScript) and Java (Spring Boot). Duties & Responsibilities Functional & System Testing Develop and execute test plans, cases, and scenarios Perform functional, integration, and regression testing Validate system behavior against requirements Track defects using Jira Application & API Testing Test Angular web applications and Java/Spring Boot APIs Perform API testing (Postman or similar) Validate data accuracy and outputs Collaboration & Support Work with developers to resolve defects Support UAT and stakeholder validation Assist with release validation DevSecOps & Quality Integration Support testing within CI/CD pipelines Validate builds during deployments Improve testing processes Qualifications Active Secret Clearance IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE) 3+ years software testing experience Experience executing test plans independently Experience with Jira Strong analytical and communication skills Preferred DoD experience Angular/Java familiarity API testing (Postman) SQL/data validation CI/CD exposure DISA STIG familiarity Our Equal Employment Opportunity Policy EEO and Affirmative Action Policy: DecisionPoint Corporation is an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
