The Opportunity: Shape the Future of Utility Asset Management
Are you an enterprise technology leader with a passion for unlocking value in asset-intensive industries? Do you want to build, lead, and scale a premier consulting practice backed by the brand equity and resource engine of a leading global engineering firm?
At 1898 & Co. (the management and technology advisory arm of Burns & McDonnell), we don't just design the future grid, we digitize and optimize it. We are seeking an entrepreneurial, strategic, and deeply knowledgeable Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Service Offering Director to champion and scale our dual-platform EAM practice, focusing on IFS Cloud and IBM Maximo solutions for utility and infrastructure clients across North America.
In this high-impact, market-facing role, you will be the visionary leader for our EAM practice. You will partner with executive stakeholders at leading utilities to solve their most complex asset management, digitalization, and operational challenges. If you are ready to move beyond standard implementation and drive true enterprise-wide business transformation, this is your runway.
Role Summary
The EAM Service Offering Director is a hybrid leadership role blending offering strategy, business development, solution architecture, and delivery oversight. You will define our go-to-market strategy, architect cutting-edge EAM and Asset Performance Management (APM) solutions using both IFS Cloud and IBM Maximo (Maximo Application Suite), lead high-value sales pursuits, and oversee the successful execution of client projects.
Positioned within our Enterprise System & Integration team, you will act as a trusted advisor, bridging the gap between complex utility operational needs and modern digital ecosystems. You will have the unique opportunity to scale a specialized delivery team, mentor rising talent, and drive 1898 & Co.'s expansion as a dominant player in the utility EAM market.
