The Real Estate Services Leader (Senior Manager 1) oversees the technology strategy, program governance, and operational delivery for all real estate and workplace technology initiatives across Deloitte's US office portfolio. This role partners with corporate real estate, facilities, and business leadership to align technology investments with space utilization goals, hybrid work strategies, and portfolio transformation programs including major headquarters projects. The leader manages a multi-disciplinary team spanning program deployment, AV, and conferencing technology, and serves as the senior escalation point and executive representative for real estate technology across the firm. This role is central to ensuring that Deloitte's physical environments are equipped with world-class, experience-forward technology that enables practitioners and clients to do their best work.

Work You'll Do

As a Real Estate Services Leader (Senior Manager 1), you will:

  • Lead the technology strategy and investment roadmap for Deloitte's real estate portfolio, including office builds, consolidations, major renovations, and flagship headquarters projects
  • Partner with corporate real estate, facilities management, and business leadership to align technology programs with space utilization, hybrid work, and portfolio optimization objectives
  • Oversee a multi-disciplinary team covering project deployment, AV/VC, and conference room technology, providing strategic direction, performance management, and talent development
  • Drive program governance frameworks including project intake, capital planning, milestone tracking, risk management, and executive reporting
  • Serve as the senior escalation point and executive spokesperson for real estate technology delivery across the firm
  • Evaluate and champion emerging workplace technologies - including smart building, ambient compute, and AI-integrated environments - to define what world-class looks like for Deloitte
  • Build and maintain strong vendor partnerships and industry relationships to ensure Deloitte has access to best-in-class solutions

The Real Estate Services team is part of Deloitte's CTO Practitioner Productivity organization, responsible for ensuring that every physical workspace across the firm's US portfolio is enabled with world-class technology. From new office builds to major renovations and portfolio rationalization, this team delivers the technology foundation that supports Deloitte's hybrid workforce. At the Senior Manager 2 level, this leader shapes the strategic direction of real estate technology for the entire firm - including Deloitte's landmark new 70 Hudson Yards headquarters - and leads a team of specialized professionals across project deployment, conferencing, and AV disciplines.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 10+ years of experience in workplace technology, real estate technology strategy, or enterprise IT program leadership
  • 5+ years leading technology programs across large, multi-site real estate portfolios including but not limited to:
  • Strong executive presence with experience presenting to and influencing C-suite and senior business stakeholders
  • Deep knowledge of workplace technology domains including AV/VC, conferencing, network infrastructure, and smart building systems
  • 2+ years of recent experience building and leading high-performing, multi-disciplinary technical teams
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Human-Computer Interaction, Business, or a related field and/or additional relevant professional experience
  • Ability to travel 20-30%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available

Preferred:

  • Experience with IWMS or CAFM platforms (e.g., Archibus, ServiceNow Workplace)
  • Familiarity with LEED, WELL, or SPIRE certification processes for smart and sustainable buildings
  • PMP, CTS, or related professional certification
  • Background in agentic AI, digital twin, or smart building technology strategy

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $124,000 to $229,000.
