Now Hiring: Technology Solutions Representative (Construction Equipment Technology)

Mustang Cat is seeking a Technology Solutions Representative to drive the adoption, sales, and success of Caterpillar’s advanced machine technology solutions across our Construction Industries (CI) customer base.

This is a high-impact, consultative sales role at the intersection of construction equipment and cutting-edge technology—ideal for someone who thrives on solving problems, influencing customers, and delivering measurable results.

You will serve as the go-to expert for Caterpillar technology, helping customers increase productivity, improve safety, and maximize jobsite efficiency through data-driven solutions.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the technology sales cycle – identify opportunities, build pipeline, quote, close, and follow up
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for Caterpillar technology solutions, including:
    • VisionLink & VisionLink Productivity
    • Cat Grade (2D/3D) Systems
    • Cat Command (remote operation)
    • Cat Payload & Compaction technologies
    • Cat Detect & safety systems
  • Partner with Machine Sales Reps and PSSRs to uncover and develop technology opportunities
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations, jobsite evaluations, and customer presentations
  • Consult with customers to recommend solutions that improve productivity, safety, and ROI
  • Lead implementation and onboarding of technology systems post-sale
  • Train customers on system usage, data insights, and best practices
  • Analyze equipment and productivity data to help customers optimize performance
  • Support troubleshooting and coordinate with service teams as needed
  • Act as the bridge between customers, sales, service, and Caterpillar
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, product updates, and emerging technologies
