Job description

Executive Summary

We are a moderate-sized legal services company and have been a successful and respected business for more than 25 years. We are seeking a senior, hands-on Sales Executive to build and scale our outbound sales organization. This role is designed for a proven sales leader who has personally carried a quota, built outbound engines, and scaled revenue through disciplined execution.

As the senior sales leader, you will own the entire outbound revenue function — from strategy and team buildout to day-to-day execution and performance accountability. This is not a “manage-from-the-dashboard” role. You will lead from the front: closing deals, refining messaging, and setting the sales culture by example.

Strategic Responsibilities

Revenue Ownership & Growth Strategy

  • Full P&L ownership for outbound sales revenue.
  • Design and execute a scalable outbound sales strategy to drive predictable pipeline and closed revenue.
  • Establish revenue targets, forecasting models, and growth plans aligned with company objectives.

Executive-Level Hands-On Leadership

  • Actively participate in sales calls, deal strategy, and high-value client conversions.
  • Continuously refine outbound scripts, qualification frameworks, and closing methodologies through direct involvement.
  • Serve as the “gold standard” closer and sales coach for the organization.

Sales Organization Buildout

  • Build the outbound sales function from scratch, including org design, hiring plans, and performance expectations.
  • Recruit, onboard, and develop top-performing outbound sales talent.
  • Create a culture of accountability, execution excellence, and ethical, client-focused selling.

Scalable Sales Infrastructure

  • Design and implement repeatable outbound processes that scale without sacrificing quality or compliance.
  • Optimize lead flow, follow-up cadence, pipeline management, and conversion metrics.
  • Partner cross-functionally to ensure operational alignment and client experience excellence.

Performance & Data-Driven Management

  • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) across the full outbound funnel.
  • Leverage CRM systems and call analytics to diagnose performance gaps and optimize results.
  • Hold the team to clear activity, conversion, and revenue benchmarks.

Consultative, Client-Centric Sales Leadership

  • Ensure all sales interactions follow a consultative, trust-based approach appropriate for legal services.
  • Oversee complex client sales cycles that require empathy, education, and precision.
  • Balance revenue growth with long-term reputation and client outcomes.

Executive Qualifications

  • 5+ years in senior sales leadership, ideally in legal services, financial services, or high-touch consumer environments.
  • Demonstrated success building and scaling outbound sales teams with measurable revenue impact.
  • Proven track record of personally closing deals while leading others to exceed quota.
  • Deep expertise in outbound sales psychology, objection handling, and conversion optimization.
  • Strong operational mindset with experience using CRM platforms and call analytics to drive execution.
  • Highly autonomous leader comfortable operating in fast-growth, evolving environments.
  • Mission-driven mindset with a genuine desire to help clients navigate complex legal challenges.

Experience Requirements

  • Outbound Sales (Direct & Leadership): 5+ years (Required)
  • CRM & Sales Analytics Tools: 5+ years (Required)

What We Offer

  • Competitive executive-level base compensation plus aggressive performance incentives.
  • Opportunity to define and own the sales strategy at a critical growth stage.
  • Authority to build and lead a high-performance outbound sales organization.
  • Career-defining role with clear executive impact.
  • Meaningful work supporting clients in high stakes litigation
