Job description

AlphaHire is seeking experienced construction executives and operational leaders to join its Executive Construction Council - a private advisory group composed of senior industry operators helping shape the future of construction workforce intelligence, operational forecasting, and labor market interpretation.
This council brings together leaders from commercial construction, infrastructure, mission-critical development, industrial construction, renewable energy, and specialty contracting environments to provide operational perspective on the workforce conditions affecting execution, growth, profitability, and project delivery across the industry.
Council members contribute real-world executive insight drawn from active leadership experience managing labor-constrained operations, regional expansion, workforce scaling, compensation pressure, and complex project environments.
This is a fully remote opportunity with optional participation in executive roundtables, research initiatives, strategic advisory discussions, and select onsite engagements.
Responsibilities
  • Provide executive perspective on workforce pressure, hiring conditions, compensation acceleration, and operational labor constraints across construction markets
  • Contribute insight related to contractor growth, backlog expansion, regional scaling, and workforce-dependent execution risk
  • Help validate market observations, labor trend analysis, compensation benchmarking, and workforce forecasting initiatives
  • Participate in executive advisory discussions surrounding operational scaling, labor availability, retention pressure, and project execution environments
  • Contribute practical industry interpretation to workforce briefings, contractor intelligence reports, and executive research initiatives
  • Advise on leadership hiring dynamics, operational bottlenecks, organizational scaling, and workforce planning strategies
  • Provide feedback on emerging market conditions impacting contractor performance and labor availability across key construction sectors
  • Support the ongoing development of operational intelligence frameworks and executive reporting methodologies
  • Collaborate with research, advisory, and industry leadership teams to improve the accuracy and practical relevance of published findings

About AlphaHire
AlphaHire is building a construction workforce intelligence platform focused on helping construction leadership teams better understand labor market conditions, operational workforce risk, compensation movement, contractor expansion activity, and workforce-dependent execution pressure across the industry.
The platform combines workforce research, hiring market visibility, operational analysis, and executive interpretation to help contractors navigate increasingly labor-constrained construction environments with greater clarity and confidence.
Rather than functioning solely as a recruiting organization, AlphaHire is developing a long-term intelligence ecosystem designed to support executive decision-making across workforce planning, operational scaling, retention strategy, hiring execution, and market positioning.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of leadership experience within commercial construction, infrastructure, mission-critical construction, industrial construction, renewable energy, specialty contracting, or related sectors
  • Prior experience serving in operational leadership roles such as President, COO, VP Operations, Division Executive, Regional Executive, General Manager, Executive Project Leader, Preconstruction Executive, or equivalent
  • Strong understanding of workforce planning, labor constraints, operational scaling, hiring strategy, and execution risk within construction environments
  • Experience overseeing multi-project operations, regional business units, or large-scale construction initiatives preferred
  • Ability to contribute practical operational insight grounded in active industry leadership experience
  • Experience navigating labor shortages, compensation pressure, workforce retention challenges, or rapid organizational growth environments strongly preferred
  • Direct construction industry leadership experience is required
  • Interest in labor market interpretation, workforce forecasting, operational analytics, or construction industry research preferred

Benefits
Advisory participation structures will vary based on experience, level of involvement, and strategic contribution.
Council participation may include:
  • Access to executive workforce intelligence discussions and industry research initiatives
  • Collaboration with senior construction leaders across multiple sectors and regions
  • Participation in strategic advisory conversations surrounding labor markets, operational scaling, and workforce planning
  • Visibility within future executive publications, advisory initiatives, and industry research efforts
  • Access to select retained search, executive advisory, and strategic collaboration opportunities through AlphaHire

AlphaHire is intentionally building a highly selective council composed of experienced operators with meaningful industry perspective and active executive leadership experience.
