Job description

SUMMARY
The Las Vegas Desert Dogs were launched on June 21, 2021, as the 15th team in the National Lacrosse League beginning play in December 2022. The team is co-owned by Wayne Gretzky, Dustin Johnson, Steve Nash, and Joe Tsai. The team plays at Lee's Family Forum in Henderson.
The Business Development Account Executive will report to the Manager of Business Development and will be responsible for generating new ticket revenue through strategic prospecting and fan acquisition initiatives for the Las Vegas Desert Dogs.
This role will focus on developing new business relationships, identifying new ticket revenue opportunities, and introducing new fans to Desert Dogs lacrosse. The Account Executive will play a key role in growing the team's fan base by converting new customers into ticket buyers and helping move fans through the ticket sales funnel from single game buyers to partial plans and full season memberships.
JOB DESCRIPTION - WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Generate new ticket revenue through proactive prospecting, outreach, and fan acquisition efforts throughout the Las Vegas community
Identify, cultivate, and close new business opportunities including corporate ticket programs, community partnerships, and affinity group ticket initiatives
Sell a variety of ticket products including single game tickets, partial plans, full season memberships, and premium hospitality experiences
Achieve and exceed weekly, monthly, and annual ticket revenue goals and activity KPIs (calls, meetings, appointments, and new accounts)
Identify new audiences and markets that can be introduced to Desert Dogs games through strategic outreach and relationship development
Conduct sales meetings via phone, video call, and in-person presentations including facility tours and game day experiences
Work closely with the Marketing team to leverage campaigns, promotions, and events that generate qualified sales leads
Collaborate with the Group Sales and Membership Sales teams to maximize revenue opportunities across all ticket products
Work all home games and major events to engage new clients, support in-season sales initiatives, and build relationships
Attend community events, networking functions, and local business gatherings to generate new leads and partnerships
Maintain accurate pipeline tracking and CRM reporting in HubSpot while documenting all sales activity and managing accounts
Provide exceptional customer service to new ticket buyers to build long-term relationships and future renewal opportunities
Represent the Desert Dogs brand with professionalism, energy, and strong community engagement
