Job description

This position requires onsite work in Harrison, AR.

No Corp to Corp candidates.

This is a Contract To Hire position.

A TEKsystems client is expanding their IT presence in Harrison, AR. They are in need of a Level 3 - Infrastructure and Systems Engineering Support resource.

Overview

Acts as the senior technical advisor supporting application and infrastructure portfolios. Provides advanced operational oversight, technical leadership, and quality assurance for complex issues and enhancements. Leverages deep application and engineering knowledge to drive service stability, ensure compliance, and guide operational decision-making without serving as a hands-on software developer.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the senior technical advisor for assigned applications, platforms, and infrastructure services.

Maintain deep understanding of application architecture, integrations, dependencies, and supporting technologies.

Manage the workflow and prioritization of complex Level 3 support activities.

Review escalated incidents and ensure appropriate technical resolution paths are being followed.

Provide oversight and quality assurance of managed service provider activities.

Validate that work is being performed on the correct priorities, in the proper sequence, and aligned with business outcomes.

Conduct peer reviews of technical solutions, configuration changes, and implementation plans prior to production deployment.

Partner with development, infrastructure, architecture, and support teams to evaluate technical impacts and risks.

Ensure compliance with SOX controls, organizational policies, security requirements, and operational standards.

Identify systemic issues and drive long-term remediation strategies.

Mentor Level 1 and 2 resources and provide technical guidance across organization.

Support change governance, release readiness assessments, and operational risk reviews.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Harrison, AR.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $70.00/hr.
