Job Description

Overview

As a Principal, you will actively participate in the growth and development of the Management Consulting practice at Publicis Sapient. Your role will focus on shaping ambitious Digital Business Transformations for our clients within the healthcare payer industry, delivering strategic advice throughout the transformation lifecycle. You will work alongside multidisciplinary teams of management consultants, experience strategists, and technology engineers to solve complex business challenges for leading health plans.

We are seeking experienced management consultants with deep healthcare payer expertise who have successfully led client engagements, managed consulting teams, and partnered with executive stakeholders to deliver measurable business outcomes.

Qualifications

Your Impact

  • Lead large-scale digital and business transformation engagements for healthcare payer clients.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior client executives, developing strategic recommendations that improve operational performance, member experience, and business value.
  • Manage and mentor multidisciplinary consulting teams, ensuring high-quality delivery and professional development of team members.
  • Actively contribute to the growth of the Management Consulting practice by supporting recruiting, mentoring consultants, defining best practices, and developing thought leadership.
  • Collaborate across strategy, customer experience, data, and technology teams to deliver innovative transformation solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong executive-level client relationships while identifying opportunities to expand engagements.

Qualifications

Skills & Experience

  • 8+ years of Strategy and/or Management Consulting experience, preferably with a global consulting firm.
  • Demonstrated consulting experience serving healthcare payer organizations.
  • Experience leading large-scale business and digital transformation initiatives for healthcare payer clients.
  • Proven experience managing consulting teams, leading workstreams, and mentoring consultants across multiple engagements.
  • Strong executive presence with experience advising C-suite and senior healthcare executives.
  • Excellent written, verbal, analytical, and presentation skills.
  • Exceptional structured problem-solving and quantitative analysis capabilities.
  • Experience with operating model transformation, business process improvement, or enterprise strategy within healthcare.
  • Appreciation for Agile ways of working and technology-enabled transformation.
  • Ability to build trusted client relationships and deliver measurable business value.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with health plans across Commercial, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, or ACA Exchange lines of business.
  • Knowledge of healthcare payer operations including Claims, Enrollment, Member Services, Provider Operations, Care Management, Utilization Management, Payment Integrity, Value-Based Care, and Digital Member Experience.
  • Experience leading technology-enabled transformations involving modernization, cloud, data & analytics, AI, or customer experience initiatives.

Pay Range: $180,000 - $220,000
