~ OVERNIGHT COVERAGE NEEDED (includes substantial Shift Differential!)
Location: Naples, Florida
Company: David Lawrence Centers For Behavioral Health
Job Type: PRN & Hourly/Non-Exempt
~ 3 Shifts Required If Offered Per Month, Including 1 Weekend
~ Shifts Include Day/Evening/Overnight/Weekday/Weekend
Salary: $38 Per Hour & Substantial Shift Differential

Job Summary: Our Detox Program provides critical community care through our 15-bed adult inpatient unit (with expansion plans in place!). We are looking to select a Client-focused and sharply-skilled nurse to enhance our team - this is an opportunity to make a difference in someone's recovery every single minute of every single shift!
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing direct care to Clients, including triage, nursing assessment, implementation of orders, withdrawal assessment and management, observation, interviewing, recording and reporting medical and behavior patterns.
- Timely and accurate documentation in the electronic medical records system.
- Supplying direction to Behavioral Healthcare Technicians (BHT's) as necessary.
- Evaluating and identifying nursing care plans and intervening according to nursing practice standards to meet Client treatment/care needs in a timely and appropriate manner.
- Implementing effective infection control practices and following reporting standards.
- Safely, accurately and effectively implementing/documenting Client discharges.
- Serving as Charge Nurse when needed based on experience.
Qualifications:
- High school Diploma/GED = Required
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program = Required
- Current State of Florida RN License = Required
- 1-2 years' related experience = Strongly Preferred
- Spanish Bilingual = Preferred
- Skills in nursing assessment, evaluation, planning, and intervention = Required
- Ability to relate to a diverse group of Clients, and co-workers = Required
- Adaptability to varying and emergency work conditions = Required
- Basic knowledge of Substance Use Disorder/Mental Health treatment principles and techniques (including Medication Assisted Treatment) = Required
- Microsoft Office 365 skills (Including Teams/Video Conferencing) and Electronic Medical Records experience = Strongly Preferred
- Staying compliant on all trainings and immunizations = Required
- Ability to pass Level II DCF Mental Health Fingerprinting, (General Information can be found HERE), Drug Screen and Local Criminal Check = Required
Physical Requirements: This position requires a mix of physical activities throughout the workday. Duties involve periods of standing, sitting, and walking, often across various areas of the site. The role also includes tasks that may require bending, reaching, and other physical movements. Candidates must be able to occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. A reasonable level of physical stamina and mobility is necessary to successfully perform the essential functions of this role.
