Job Summar

yWe are seeking an experienced Wire Harness Design Engineer with 5–7 years of experience in electrical harness design for off-highway, heavy equipment, or automotive vehicles. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and routing electrical wiring harnesses, developing manufacturing drawings and schematics, creating 3D models, and collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to support product development and production

.Key Responsibilitie

  • sDesign and route electrical wiring harnesses using SolidWorks
  • .Develop electrical harness drawings and schematics using AutoCAD Electrical
  • .Create detailed 3D models for harness routing, enclosure assemblies, cable routing, brackets, trays, and electrical installations
  • .Generate flattened manufacturing drawings with accurate 2D-to-3D associations
  • .Prepare and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs), harness documentation, and manufacturing release packages
  • .Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing teams to ensure proper electrical component integration and installation
  • .Ensure designs comply with applicable engineering standards, quality requirements, and industry regulations
  • .Review, update, and revise engineering drawings based on design changes and production feedback
  • .Work closely with operations to resolve drawing discrepancies and improve manufacturability
