Job Summary:
NVIDIA is a leading technology company seeking a Senior Research Scientist for AI-Mediated Reality and Interaction. The role involves conducting fundamental research and developing innovative algorithms for human-AI interaction and 4D world modeling, impacting various NVIDIA products.
Responsibilities:
• Propose novel fundamental research that advances the state-of-the-art in the broader research community and is relevant to NVIDIA’s business; and prototype and test your ideas.
• Patent and publish your research in top-tier conferences (CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, SIGGRAPH, NeurIPS, ICLR, etc.).
• Collaborate with other research team members, external researchers, and mentor interns and junior researchers.
• Create working interactive demonstrations to showcase your research ideas.
• Participate in technology transfer with engineers around NVIDIA as ideas 'graduate' from research to product.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Ph.D. in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering or equivalent research experience.
• 3+ years of relevant postdoctoral or industrial research experience
• Outstanding research and publication track record exemplified in conferences such as CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, SIGGRAPH, NeurIPS, ICLR, etc.
• Proficiency in theory and practice of AI and computer vision algorithms.
• Experience with 3D graphics development.
• Strong programming skills in Python & C++; CUDA is a plus
• Proficiency with distributed deep learning training frameworks, e.g., PyTorch.
• Excellent communication skills.
