We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to support accurate and timely record management in Trenton, New Jersey. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for someone who is comfortable working with high-volume information, maintaining data accuracy, and using computer-based systems efficiently. The role focuses on entering, reviewing, and organizing numeric and text-based information while helping keep business records current and reliable.
Responsibilities:
• Enter large volumes of information into computer systems with a high level of speed and precision.
• Review submitted data for completeness, correct formatting, and consistency before finalizing entries.
• Update existing records and make corrections when discrepancies or missing details are identified.
• Maintain organized digital files to support easy retrieval and accurate recordkeeping.
• Verify numeric and written information against source documents to reduce entry errors.
• Use typing and data entry skills to process routine administrative information in a timely manner.
• Follow established procedures for handling confidential or sensitive data during daily tasks.• Previous experience in data entry or a similar administrative support role.
• Strong keyboarding skills with the ability to enter information quickly and accurately.
