Job description

About Bound
We believe an athletic director's job is one of the most critical in a community: to shape the lives and experiences of student-athletes. But as we listened, we learned that with dwindling budgets and growing responsibilities, they've had no choice but to spend more time managing logistics than leading their teams and programs. After countless conversations, we gained a deep understanding of their challenges, from handling transactions to managing schedules and tracking results.
This insight was the catalyst for Bound. We created an all-in-one platform to give ADs back their time. With our OneSchedule Technology at its core, our platform integrates essential tools like Activity Registration, Tickets and Passes, and 20+ additional solutions. Today, Bound empowers schools across the country to manage every aspect of their athletics and activities, all within a single, unified solution.
We're not just a software company; we are a team made up of former athletic directors, administrators, coaches, parents, and fans. We all share one core belief: in the power of youth sports and activities to positively impact communities and the people who live in them.
About the Role
Account Executives at Bound are responsible for driving new business growth and expanding our customer base. You'll own the full sales cycle-from prospecting and discovery through demos, proposals, and contract negotiation. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves uncovering customer pain points, and excels at positioning solutions that deliver real value.
You'll partner closely with Sales Development, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to ensure prospects have a seamless, high-quality experience from first touch to handoff. Your work directly fuels Bound's growth and shapes how new customers experience our platform.
Key Responsibilities
Full-Cycle Sales Ownership
  • Manage the entire sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, demos, proposals, and contract negotiation
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads to build a strong, predictable pipeline
  • Deliver compelling, tailored product demos that speak to customer use cases and pain points

Pipeline Growth & Forecasting
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline across multiple channels
  • Maintain accurate forecasts and CRM hygiene in HubSpot
  • Track key metrics to ensure consistent progress toward revenue goals

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with SDRs to convert qualified leads into high-quality opportunities
  • Work with Marketing to align messaging, campaigns, and lead quality
  • Collaborate with Customer Success and Onboarding to ensure smooth handoffs and successful customer launches

Market & Product Expertise
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape, and product updates
  • Provide insights and feedback to Product and Marketing based on customer conversations
  • Represent the voice of the prospect to help shape future product direction

Required Qualifications
  • 2-4 years of experience in full-cycle sales, preferably in SaaS or a tech-enabled environment Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota
  • Strong discovery, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to translate customer needs into clear value propositions
  • Experience delivering product demos (live or virtual)
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot preferred)
  • Comfort operating in a fast-growing, evolving environment

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
  • Experience selling to public sector, mid-market, or SMB customers
  • Background in consultative or value-based selling
  • Familiarity with structured sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC, SPIN, Challenger)
  • Experience collaborating with SDR and CS teams in a high-growth environment

Who You Are
  • As an Account Executive, you'll be on the front lines of Bound's growth. You'll help prospects understand the value of our platform, shape their first experience with our team, and contribute directly to revenue expansion. You'll join a collaborative, curious, and ambitious team that's committed to building something meaningful.
  • A self-motivated hunter who's energized by building pipeline from scratch and takes ownership of crushing their goals.
  • A curious, consultative seller who leads with discovery, listens for the real pain behind the ask, and translates it into clear value for ADs and administrators.
  • Resilient and coachable - you treat objections and lost deals as information, and you actively seek feedback to sharpen your craft (a true "Learn It All").
  • A strong communicator who collaborates naturally across SDR, Marketing, Onboarding, and Account Management to keep deals moving and handoffs clean.

Work Hours & Flexibility
Bound does not operate on a traditional "routine" workweek. When work needs to be done, we collaborate to get it done - whether that's in the morning, afternoon, evening, or occasionally on weekends.
At the same time, Bound supports flexibility for personal needs, family events, appointments, and time to recharge. Employees are trusted to manage their schedules while meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality work.

  • Flexible time off / PTO as needed
  • 11 Holidays annually
  • Retirement savings - up to 3% match
  • Medical, dental and vision with employer contribution
