We are an employee-centric company that understands the individuals who comprise our workforce are our most important asset, and we are proudly recognized as one of "The Best Place for Working Parents." Come join our team of experienced, dedicated, and committed professionals whose focus is to solve the mission-critical problems of our customers.

In this role, you will install, maintain, and troubleshoot conference room IT and AV equipment, support VIP end-users, perform preventative maintenance, and resolve network and VOIP incidents in accordance with service level agreements. The ideal candidate brings hands-on AV/IT technician experience, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work independently within established guidelines in a fast-paced government facility environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Install, cable, support, and maintain IT equipment and audiovisual conference room equipment for both legacy and new installations; evaluate and recommend necessary product maintenance activities and upgrades.
  • Perform technical analyses of conference room software, hardware, and transmission equipment using various diagnostic tools in support of efficient operations.
  • Monitor data traffic and control network resource performance to ensure high-quality transmission.
  • Demonstrate a high level of customer service, professionalism, and end-user support to a large VIP customer base.
  • Perform preventative maintenance inspections and ongoing patching of conference room equipment.
  • Support root cause analysis activities for conference room incidents.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical problems related to network failure/integrity and usage of PC hardware and software, including conference room displays, controllers, Crestron devices, AMX, Cisco, and other conferencing devices.
  • Resolve work orders for Network, VOIP, and conference room equipment in accordance with service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Analyze and solve standard problems by applying experience, judgment, and precedents; work within established guidelines and policies with a moderate level of guidance.
  • Communicate technical information clearly to audiences ranging from Level 1 technicians to VIP customer stakeholders, verbally and in writing.
  • Utilize existing knowledge while continuously building additional knowledge of company processes, client requirements, and evolving technology.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree (AA or AS) with 4 years of relevant experience, OR High School Diploma/GED with 6 years of relevant experience in IT/AV systems support.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting IT and audiovisual conference room equipment (displays, controllers, Crestron, AMX, Cisco, or similar conferencing systems).
  • Experience resolving work orders and incidents for Network, VOIP, and AV/IT equipment within defined SLAs.
  • Ability to perform preventative maintenance and apply patching procedures to conference room hardware and software.
  • Proficiency in identifying and resolving network failure, integrity, and PC hardware/software issues using diagnostic tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to handle situations professionally across all organizational levels.
  • Experience with 70-volt indoor/outdoor Public Address (PA) systems.
  • Valid driver's license; qualified and willing to operate GSA-owned vehicles, including 12-inch box trucks.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be available to work on-site at Johnson Space Flight Center during standard business hours.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience supporting AV/IT operations in a federal government, NASA, or VIP/executive environment.
  • Familiarity with Crestron and AMX programming or configuration environments.
  • Experience supporting multi-room or enterprise-scale AV/IT conference room deployments.
  • Knowledge of network performance monitoring tools and methodologies.
  • Detail-oriented self-starter with experience working within structured ticketing and work order management systems.
