Job description

Description
WHO WE ARE
Come join the company at the center of how the world adopts AI securely. Cyera's mission is to give enterprises the confidence to embrace AI safely - deciding exactly what it can see and do as it reaches deeper into the business. We started by solving the hardest problem in data security: finding and securing data faster and more precisely than anyone thought possible. That foundation is now the essential AI trust infrastructure for the Fortune 1000. We're hiring mission-driven talent to put those leaders at the center of our story.
THE OPPORTUNITY
We're looking for a Brand Copywriter & Narrative Strategist to help shape how the market understands Cyera, data security, and the future of AI-era data protection.
This role sits at the intersection of brand, product, communications, and executive thought leadership. You'll be responsible for developing and scaling narratives that differentiate Cyera, simplify complex concepts, and create emotional resonance with customers, prospects, analysts, media, investors, and employees.
You'll work closely with executives, product marketing, demand generation, design, customer marketing, and communications teams to ensure every Cyera story-from keynote stages to website copy-feels distinctive, memorable, and unmistakably Cyera.
This is an ideal role for someone who loves turning technical complexity into compelling stories and wants to help define a category at one of the most important moments in cybersecurity.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create High-Impact Brand Content
  • Write and edit:
  • Website and landing page copy
  • Brand campaigns
  • Product launch messaging
  • Customer stories and case studies
  • Video scripts
  • Event and conference content
  • Analyst and media narratives
  • Social content
  • Long-form thought leadership
  • Develop storytelling that moves beyond features and functions to focus on business impact and market transformation.

Own and Evolve the Cyera Narrative
  • Help define and refine Cyera's brand narrative, messaging architecture, and voice.
  • Translate complex cybersecurity, AI, governance, and data security concepts into clear and compelling stories.
  • Develop messaging frameworks that align company vision, market trends, customer pain points, and product innovation.
  • Ensure consistency of voice and positioning across all external communications.

Drive Executive Thought Leadership
  • Partner closely with executives and subject matter experts to develop thought leadership content.
  • Write keynote narratives, conference presentations, blogs, bylines, LinkedIn content, and strategic communications.
  • Help elevate Cyera's voice in conversations around AI, data security, governance, cyber resilience, and enterprise transformation.
  • Identify emerging industry themes and turn them into compelling points of view.

Partner Across the Marketing Organization
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing to connect product innovation with broader market narratives.
  • Work closely with Design and Creative teams to bring stories to life visually.
  • Support Demand Generation with campaign messaging and content frameworks.
  • Partner with Communications and PR teams on external messaging and executive visibility.
  • Serve as a steward of the Cyera voice across the organization.

Requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Required
  • 5-8+ years of experience in brand storytelling, copywriting, content strategy, product marketing, journalism, communications, or related fields.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with a portfolio demonstrating strategic storytelling.
  • Experience writing for B2B technology companies, preferably cybersecurity, cloud, AI, data, or enterprise software.
  • Ability to synthesize complex technical concepts into concise, compelling narratives.
  • Experience developing messaging frameworks, positioning, and executive thought leadership.
  • Strong interviewing skills and ability to extract insights from technical and business stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Preferred
  • Experience in cybersecurity or data security.
  • Experience supporting founder-led brands and executive visibility programs.
  • Background in journalism, editorial, agency strategy, or content leadership.
  • Experience developing keynote presentations and conference narratives.
  • Familiarity with analyst relations and media storytelling.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE:
Within your first year, you'll:
  • Help strengthen Cyera's position as the category leader in data security.
  • Build a distinctive and consistent brand voice across channels.
  • Increase executive visibility through compelling thought leadership.
  • Develop narratives that make Cyera's perspective on AI and data security impossible to ignore.
  • Create stories that customers, analysts, media, and employees remember and repeat.

COMPENSATION INFORMATION:
Compensation Range: $100,000-$130,000.
The range represents total compensation, and may include incentive for sales roles, equity or benefits, as applicable.
This compensation range represents Cyera's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of posting, and Cyera may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. The final salary for this position will be determined in Cyera's sole discretion, consistent with applicable law, and based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the employee's work experience, skills, and qualifications for the role, as well as the needs of Cyera's business and other operational considerations.
Final compensation will vary based on seniority and relevance of experience, location, and position requirements.
This role may be eligible for potential merit increases based on factors such as individual or company performance, time in role, and other discretionary factors.
BENEFITS - Why Cyera?
  • Ability to work remotely, with office setup reimbursement
  • Competitive salary
  • Unlimited PTO
  • Paid holidays and sick time
  • Health, vision, and dental insurance
  • Life, short and long-term disability insurance
