Executive Administrative Assistant
Hybrid position working from the Legacy Support Center located in Plano Texas

Sally Beauty offers products for hair color, hair care, nails, and skin care to retail customers looking for salon quality products at a value price. Beauty Systems Group, branded as Cosmo Prof or Armstrong McCall stores, along with its direct sales consultants, sell professionally branded products intended for use and resale by salons to retail consumers.
About the role
Provide high-level administrative support to SVP or above by conducting research, preparing statistical reports, handling information requests, and performing clerical functions such as preparing correspondence, receiving visitors, arranging conference calls, and scheduling meetings.
Responsibilities
  • 30%: Perform general office duties such as ordering supplies, maintaining records management systems, and performing basic bookkeeping work. Screen telephone calls and personally provide requested information or refer calls to other staff. Make travel arrangements for department heads and/or other personnel.
  • 20%: Initiate and respond to written and verbal correspondence; compose, edit and distribute correspondence according to established guidelines or personal knowledge of the subject matter.
  • 20%: Assist in creating meeting agendas; arrange, coordinate and attend committee meetings; take and prepare meeting notes, minutes and other records. Maintain Executives calendars. Make travel arrangements for executives.
  • 15%: Prepare requisitions, purchase orders, staff reports, resolutions, routine documents and other forms of communications; prepare complex statistical, financial, administrative and budget reports.
  • 10%: Research information and procedures; record actions on sensitive issues and release information to authorized parties.
  • 5%: Work closely with department heads to monitor the progress in achieving monthly budgets and goals.
Knowledge, skills & abilities requirements
  • High School degree or equivalent. Bachelors degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years relevant work experience. Preferably secretarial/administrative experience.
  • Typing speed 60 wpm.
  • Strong proficiency in Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, and MS Office Suite experience.

Working conditions & physical requirements
The work environment involves everyday risks or discomforts which require normal safety precautions typical of such places as offices, meeting and training rooms, retail stores, and residences or commercial vehicles, e.g., use of safe work practices with office equipment, avoidance of trips and falls, observance of fire regulations and traffic signals, etc. The work area is adequately lit, heated, and ventilated.
The work is sedentary. Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to do the work. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying light items such as papers, files, books, small parts; using a keyboard, driving an automobile, etc. No special physical demands are required to perform the work.
