Job Description

Purpose:

Provide advanced technical leadership and oversight across projects by ensuring system quality, supporting field teams, and driving successful project execution from installation through commissioning and closeout. Responsible for execution of a project.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Lead complex or high-priority installations, ensuring alignment with SOW, BOM, and drawing packages and compliance with ET standards, AV best practices, and client expectations.
  • Act as primary on-site technical authority for system integration, commissioning, performance validation, and troubleshooting — proactively identifying and resolving technical issues, deficiencies, and risks.
  • Review project documentation prior to deployment and assist in planning and sequencing of installation activities to identify scope gaps, site risks, and implementation concerns.
  • Oversee and support Technicians, Installers, and Junior Installers in executing project tasks.
  • Coordinate with PMs, Production, and other trades to maintain project alignment and progress.
  • Support escalations and provide field expertise on challenging projects and service issues.
  • Validate and complete accurate as-built and closeout documentation prior to hand off, and log daily time billing.

Development Responsibilities:

  • Deepen expertise in advanced AV systems, including complex integrations, control systems, and networked AV.
  • Strengthen leadership in mentoring, coaching, and developing field team members while managing multiple priorities and supporting broader team performance.
  • Develop strategic thinking around project execution, risk mitigation, and operational efficiency.
  • Improve cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Programming, and Project Management.
  • Pursue advanced certifications and specialized manufacturer training.
  • Contribute to refining and defining standards, workflows, and best practices.
  • As project and business needs evolve, support the broader team by applying and expanding skills beyond core responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 Years Audio Visual Integration experience
  • Extensive experience with Crestron, Biamp, QSYS and Video conferencing platforms (Cisco, Microsoft, Zoom, Google Meet) and additional Audio Visual platforms and technologies
  • G class License
  • Personal vehicle for daily travel between client sites
  • Proof of Insurance

  • Annual salary range: $80,000 - $95,000 CAD per year.
