We’re partnering with our client to find a 3D Generalist (Hair) for a short-term remote engagement. You’ll create a photorealistic, mechanically accurate 3D hair extension animation asset for product marketing and training needs.

There is no application deadline for this role.

3D Generalist (Hair) Responsibilities:

  • Create photorealistic 3D hair models and animations from scratch using reference imagery and product understanding.
  • Produce realistic hair behavior and movement, including flow, density, and interaction.
  • Translate product benefits into visual storytelling through clear, high-quality animation.
  • Build groomed hair systems with strands, textures, and shaders suitable for close-up commercial use.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, then iterate based on feedback to deliver a production-ready final 3D animation asset.

3D Generalist (Hair) Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in 3D animation, motion, or CG generalist work in advertising, product visualization, gaming, or film.
  • A strong portfolio featuring photorealistic rendering and organic simulations such as hair, fur, cloth, or similar.

  • Hands-on experience with hair creation, grooming, and simulation pipelines.
