Job Description - Intermediate Electrical Engineer

We have an existing opportunity for an Intermediate Electrical Engineer with experience in designing or assessing electrical systems for buildings and commercial installations to support our Woodbridge, ON team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete electrical code reviews, load calculations
  • Prepare electrical design layouts and schematics
  • Inspect field installations
  • Participate in meetings with clients and contractors

Skills/Responsibilities:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
  • Professional Registration (EIT or P.Eng.) with Professional Engineers Ontario
  • Minimum 4 years' experience as an Electrical Engineer working with designing or maintenance of electrical systems for buildings and commercial installations
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and AutoCAD
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to effectively communicate with clients and construction contractors
  • Familiarity with Ontario Electrical Safety Code
  • Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and standards
  • Ability to travel to job sites within Ontario
