Job Summary:
Millennium is a leading firm in the investment sector, seeking a talented Software Engineer to enhance and maintain their Excel platform. The role involves designing and implementing new features, collaborating with internal teams, and supporting existing functionality to meet user requirements.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Collaborate with internal data source owners and Technology teams to facilitate strategic and accurate data delivery functionality through Excel
โ€ข Implement new keyword formulas to facilitate data retrieval across systems
โ€ข Enhance existing Excel add-in with functionality based on user requirements
โ€ข Collaborate with internal teams to support AI-driven capabilities surrounding our Excel platform, including Wiki content search, workbook interaction, and model building
โ€ข Maintain, support, and improve capabilities as new requirements arise over time
โ€ข Work jointly with Portfolio Management and Equities Management teams to capture requirements, monitor delivery, and manage expectations
โ€ข Fit into the active culture of Millennium, judged by the ability to deliver timely solutions to portfolio managers within the Firm
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข 5+ years of hands-on professional experience in distributed Excel development environment, ideally within electronic trading
โ€ข Experience developing Excel add-ins in C# using Excel-DNA/VSTO/COM
โ€ข Experience with ASP.NET Core Web API platform for developing scalable REST APIs
โ€ข Experience with CI/CD lifecycle, including deployment of services on Windows Server with IIS
โ€ข Understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms for secure system integration across Windows and Linux environments
โ€ข Experience with Python and commonly used frameworks and libraries
โ€ข Experience with AI/LLM concepts, models, libraries, and tooling
