Location: Baltimore, MD Salary: $110,000.00 USD Annually - $150,000.00 USD Annually Description:
Mechanical Engineer - Product Design & Applications
A manufacturing organization is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support both product design and application engineering for industrial material-handling equipment. This role combines SolidWorks-based design work with system sizing, technical analysis, and cross-functional engineering support.
Responsibilities
  • Mechanical Design using SolidWorks for components and assemblies
  • Application Engineering including system sizing, equipment selection, and technical calculations
  • Support development of pneumatic and vacuum-based conveying equipment
  • Provide technical assistance to sales, service, and manufacturing teams
  • Create drawings, BOMs, and engineering documentation
  • Collaborate with controls engineers on PLC-driven systems

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Proficiency with SolidWorks and MS Excel
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems and industrial equipment
