The Role:

The Sr Manager, Supply Chain Planning manages the long term and short term planning functions for their assigned section of the business as part meeting the overall objectives of the organization. This role supports all supply chain aspects of planning from forecast through staging of firm batch material. The Sr Manager, Supply Chain Planning facilitates continuous improvement and ensures support and alignment with the overall facility initiatives.

The Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for maintaining executable schedules to meet manufacturing daily requirements through a team.
  • Provide guidance and leadership in all aspects of planning from forecast entry, order creation, material planning, through staging of materials for production.
  • Responsible to support and lead S&OP/Operating Review meetings - identify business critical issues and facilitate discussion and decision making in support of goals and objectives.
  • Provide guidance, support, direction and leadership through positive interactions with all personnel during daily operations.
  • Assist in setting performance objectives and development plans.
  • Responsible for working with Directors to develop strategies and plans for maturing the organization.
  • Works with Project Management, Manufacturing, Process Validation, Warehouse, Maintenance, Engineering, and Technical Services in support of business objectives.
  • Lead and facilitate cross functional teams in support of strategic initiatives both within the SC organization and across the business units.
  • Accountable for embracing change, challenging status quo, and making recommendations for improvements to projects and processes.
  • Analyze complex data with the understanding of trade-offs between different business objectives and present recommendations and assist in determining the feasibility of projects based on facility capacity.

The Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in Supply Chain or Supply Chain Planning preferred.
  • Leadership experience preferred.
  • Good working knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning required.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook and the ability to use enterprise software (examples include: D365, Veeva, etc.)

Physical / Safety Requirements:

  • Duties may require overtime work, including nights and weekends.
  • Use of hands and fingers to manipulate office equipment is required
  • Position requires sitting for long hours, but may involve walking or standing for periods of time.
