Job Summary/Description:
WAND News is looking for a versatile producer who can handle building a rundown for our streaming platform and TV newscasts. This position requires independent decision-making, knowledge of pop culture and current events, and the ability to think quickly.
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Responsible for the writing and organization of newscasts
- Work closely with anchors, reporters, and photographers for efficient coverage of daily news
- Create compelling graphics for graphic applications to integrate into newscasts
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a TV newsroom or solid internships
- College degree in journalism or communications-related field preferred
