Job description
Shady Hollow Country Club is seeking a talented line cook. We are busy in the kitchen with our talented culinary staff if you like to work hard, make good money, and benefits, ,come join us. This is a full time, year round position.
Position reports to – Executive Chef, Ex. Sous Chef, and Sous chef
Principle Duties, Responsibilities, and Expectations
- Clock in and out in uniform, ready to work at all times while ONthe clock
- Cook food to recipe or chef’s requirements, with the upmost quality of product, temperature, doneness, and plate presentation.
- Cook food in a timely manner: Lunch 1015 minutes Dinner 2025 minutes
- Set up your station with food prep, utensils, towels, and any other items needed for your station
- You will be required to prepare food for banquets and ala carte
- Prep food items according to the prep list, and banquet sheets
- Help put deliveries away as required and in the proper places.
- Clean your station as you work, keep a clean and organized station.
- Clean and stock your station at the end of your shift.
- Work on general cleaning projects as directed by the Executive and Sous chefs.
- Helpout on other stations including dish washer, prep, pantry, grill, and sauté.
- You will be required to wash dishes at some shifts when needed
- Work in a friendly and positive manner always.
- Tell someone if you need to leave the kitchen
- You will be expected to do other things when asked outside of your normal realm of work.
- Enjoy your time at Shady Hollow and learn as much as possible.
