Personal Care Assistant/Caregiver

Position Summary
The PCA/CNA provides non-skilled, direct care services to individuals in their homes. This role focuses on assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), ensuring safety, promoting dignity, and maintaining accurate documentation in accordance with agency and state guidelines.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist people with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including:
    • Bathing
    • Dressing
    • Grooming
    • Toileting
    • Feeding
  • Perform light housekeeping, meal preparation, and errands
  • Follow individualized care plans and all safety protocols
  • Deliver companionship and emotional support
  • Provide mobility assistance and safe transfers
  • Provide medication reminders (no skilled nursing tasks)
  • Accurately document services provided and report any changes in client condition
Required Qualifications
  • Proof of High School Diploma or GED — Required
  • Minimum of one (1) year of in-home care experience
  • Current CNA certification (State of Georgia) or PCA certification
  • Current CPR certification
  • Current First Aid certification
  • Active TB/PPD clearance
  • Valid Driver’s License or State ID
