THE JOB:
The EVS Utility Porter role at MGM Springfield is ideal for candidates with prior professional cleaning experience, preferably in a hospitality or resort environment. This role requires hands-on experience operating floor care and specialty cleaning equipment, maintaining high cleanliness standards, and safely handling materials in a fast-paced, guest-focused setting. Flexibility to work varied shifts and a strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and service excellence are essential.
THE STARTING RATE: $20.35 per hour
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
  • Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service, in alignment with S.H.O.W. Service Basics and exceed guest expectations
  • Maintain the highest standards to ensure the detail quality and cleanliness in the casino, public areas, offices, restrooms and other required areas
  • Operate various professional floor care and specialty cleaning equipment
  • Contains and cleans biohazardous materials
  • Keep all equipment properly maintained, clean, and free of marks

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
  • 6+ Months of Prior Relevant Experience is preferred
  • Experience with professional cleaning equipment is preferred
  • Experience with professional cleaning equipment is preferred
  • Able and willing to work a Full-Time schedule (40hours per week), overnight shift, 11p-7:45am including weekends and holidays

Pay Rate
The rate for this role is:
$20.35
This rate represents a good faith estimate of the wage rate that MGM reasonably expects to pay for the position upon hire.
Pay will not be below any applicable minimum wage.
Should overtime be worked, employees are paid overtime pay in accordance with state requirements.
Employees in this position are eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) plans, and time off plans. Specific program offerings vary by eligibility factors such as geographic location, employment status, and union membership.
