FAMMO Cleaning Service is hiring dependable EVS Cleaning Technicians to support our growing operations throughout Monterey County.
We are especially interested in candidates with cleaning or Environmental Services (EVS) experience in healthcare settings, including hospitals, clinics, medical offices, skilled nursing facilities, or similar environments.

About the Role
As an EVS Cleaning Technician, you will provide janitorial and environmental services in healthcare facilities, public buildings, and other community facilities throughout Monterey County.
Depending on your assignment, you may work at one location or travel between assigned sites. This position requires professionalism, sound judgment, accountability, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, floors, high-touch surfaces, healthcare exam rooms, offices, and other assigned areas
  • Follow site-specific work instructions, checklists, and established cleaning and disinfection procedures
  • Safely use and maintain cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment
  • Work professionally and cooperatively with coworkers, supervisors, clients, and facility staff
  • Complete assigned work safely and responsibly, including when challenges or unexpected conditions arise
  • Communicate service issues, safety or maintenance concerns, and supply needs promptly and appropriately
  • Follow facility security requirements and maintain accountability for assigned keys, badges, and access
  • Assist with periodic deep cleaning and special projects as assigned
Qualifications
Preferred Experience
  • Previous professional janitorial, custodial, or Environmental Services (EVS) experience
  • Healthcare cleaning experience strongly preferred, including hospitals, clinics, medical offices, skilled nursing facilities, or similar healthcare environments
  • Experience following professional cleaning, sanitation, or disinfection procedures
Required
  • Reliable transportation; travel between assigned sites may be required
  • Ability to work independently, follow detailed instructions, and complete assigned responsibilities reliably
  • Ability to work effectively and respectfully with others
  • Professionalism, sound judgment, and the ability to remain composed and solution-focused when workplace challenges arise
  • Dependable attendance, punctuality, and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate reliably by text and email
  • Basic computer and mobile-device skills, including the ability to use company apps, online forms, and other digital tools
  • Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of the position, including lifting up to 50 pounds
