The Brand

With over 60 restaurants located worldwide, we continuously strive towards excellence and rely on the support of our culinary and hospitality team members to contribute to our worldwide operations.

Position Summary

The Floral Studio Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the floral studio based at abc kitchens dumbo, supporting floral production and installation across multiple restaurant locations within the Jean-Georges portfolio.

This role is responsible for managing the studio’s weekly floral program, maintaining visual standards, overseeing ordering and inventory, and leading a small team of florists. The Floral Studio Manager will also actively participate in floral production and installations as needed, while helping support future expansion of the floral program into additional locations.

This is a hands-on, in-person management role requiring strong organization, consistency, and attention to detail. The position requires regular travel between restaurant locations each week.

Key Responsibilities

Floral Operations & Production

· Oversee daily operations of the floral studio at abc kitchens dumbo

· Execute and maintain weekly floral programs for restaurant dining rooms and public spaces

· Create table arrangements and supporting floral pieces based on established visual standards and reference guides

· Ensure all floral work is consistent with brand presentation and restaurant aesthetics

· Assist directly with floral production, installations, breakdowns, and maintenance as needed

· Support rollout of floral programs to additional restaurant locations over time

Team Leadership

· Oversee and manage the studio’s floral team, including two florists

· Assist with hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and training team members as needed

· Maintain organization, accountability, and workflow efficiency within the studio

· Help develop operational procedures and floral prep standards

Ordering & Inventory

· Manage weekly flower ordering and inventory levels

· Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure quality and timely deliveries

· Monitor floral usage, waste, and purchasing to maintain budget awareness

· Maintain organization and cleanliness of floral storage, prep, and workspace areas

Multi-Location Support

· Travel regularly between restaurant locations to oversee floral execution and quality control

· Partner with restaurant management teams to ensure floral programs are maintained properly

· Assist with new openings, seasonal updates, and special floral installations as needed


Qualifications

· Prior experience managing floral operations, a floral studio, or hospitality floral programs preferred

· Strong understanding of floral care, handling, and arrangement techniques

· Ability to work from established visual standards and brand guidelines

· Strong organizational and communication skills

· Comfortable working in a fast-paced hospitality environment

· Hands-on leadership style with willingness to assist directly in production work

· Ability to travel between locations regularly

· Flexible schedule including early mornings, weekends, or holidays as needed


Schedule & Work Environment

· Full-time, 5 days per week, in-person

· Based primarily at abc kitchens dumbo

· Weekly travel to restaurant locations throughout NYC required

Additional Notes

· This role is focused on operational floral production and consistency across locations

· There is no expectation for custom event floral design work or independent creative direction outside approved visual standards

· Position will continue to evolve as the company expands its floral program across additional properties

Compensation

The base pay range for this position is a salary range of $85,000-100,000k per year + BONUS. The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid within the range depends on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment history/job-related knowledge, qualifications and skills,etc.
