Job description

Position Purpose

The Event Producer role will supervise and coordinate zones within an event. This can include developing concepts and ideas for the event, overseeing operations, directing staff, managing budgets and coordinating technical and production aspects in a consistent fashion that aligns with the high standards of Hartmann Studios.

Strong relationship skills, service mentality and the ability to provide multiple options for solutions are essential to this role. This individual will work to maintain relationships with clients, internal teams, external and future partners, vendors, building/event personnel, etc. A strong background in event production is required and should include a base knowledge in event design and layout, staging, lighting, sound, scenic elements, guest flow and timing, and overall event development skills.

Position Requirements

● Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or Liberal Arts

● 5+ years of event production experience, demonstrating effective leadership skills

● Must be able to deliver highly creative concepts and innovations while also demonstrating planning that is extremely organized and actionable.

● Ability to successfully manage simultaneous platforms at once; prioritize functions, assess strengths of staff and assign tasks accordingly, delegate responsibilities, manage expectations of internal customers.

● Exceptional interpersonal skills, with strong professional judgment, flexibility, resourcefulness and the ability to respond to crisis with compassion and clarity

● Strong organizational skills with an emphasis on accuracy and process improvement

● Ability to build strong relationships with venue or online partners and customers

● Experience supporting strategic planning and implementation

● Ability to work the time necessary to complete projects and/or meet deadlines

● Solid business acumen with a positive, professional attitude

● Ability to travel as needed on behalf of the company
