Job Summary

The Premium & Group Event Executive is responsible for generating revenue through the sale of premium seating and group ticket packages for Tampa Bay Lightning games, events at Benchmark International Arena, Yuengling Center, and other managed properties. This role utilizes phone outreach, email marketing, face-to-face presentations, venue tours, and off-site meetings to cultivate new business opportunities and grow existing accounts. Additionally, the position is responsible for developing and executing innovative group sales initiatives designed to increase ticket revenue and enhance our fans experience.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Maximize revenue through the sale of premium seating and group ticket packages at all VSG managed properties.
  • Plan, develop, sell, and execute group sales initiatives, theme nights, and special ticket programs.
  • Prospect daily through cold calling, networking, arena tours, referrals, and other lead generation activities to develop new business opportunities.
  • Utilize CRM systems and sales tools to effectively manage and grow customer relationships.
  • Implement proactive sales strategies to generate additional group sales opportunities from existing clients.
  • Maintain complete, accurate, and up-to-date customer records and sales activity within the CRM database.
  • Provide exceptional service and account management support to existing clients, ensuring world-class customer experience.
  • Assist in the development and execution of sales promotions and revenue-generating campaigns.
  • Achieve or exceed all established monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
  • Represent the Tampa Bay Lightning at community, networking, and promotional events.
  • Foster long-term relationships with clients, community partners, and key account holders.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

Working Conditions

  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively in office and arena environment that can be exciting, loud and distracting.
  • This is an onsite role; flexibility to work remotely as needed.
  • Ability to work extended hours including late nights, holidays, and weekends as needed.
  • Ability to work prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to lift/carry/move up to 25lbs.
  • Ability to work in cold indoor temperatures.
  • Ability to commute to various venues throughout the Greater Tampa Bay Area.
  • Ability to work in areas that can become crowded with equipment and/or people.
