Position OverviewAs an Event Promotions Representative, you’ll represent nonprofit campaigns at community events, retail locations, and other approved outreach sites.
You’ll interact directly with the public, introduce people to nonprofit programs and campaigns, answer questions, and encourage community participation and support.
This is an in-person, active position that’s a great fit for someone who enjoys meeting new people, communicating face-to-face, and working toward goals as part of a team.Responsibilities
  • Represent nonprofit partners at community events and outreach locations
  • Start conversations with members of the public in a friendly and professional manner
  • Provide information about nonprofit programs, campaigns, and initiatives
  • Encourage participation and support for fundraising campaigns
  • Help create a positive experience for community members and event attendees
  • Assist with event setup, organization, and breakdown when needed
  • Work with team members to achieve daily and weekly goals
  • Maintain a professional and positive presence while representing nonprofit partners
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable speaking with new people in public settings
  • Positive attitude and professional demeanor
  • Reliable, punctual, and dependable
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented
  • Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Previous experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, promotions, sales, or fundraising is helpful but not required
  • Willingness to learn
