Role Description The Stylist is a full-time, on-site role based in Newport Beach, CA, responsible for delivering an outstanding in-store experience that reflects Rowan’s brand and values. In this role, the Stylist will greet and engage customers, assess their needs, and provide personalized styling recommendations that highlight Rowan’s timeless, layered essentials. The Stylist will curate looks for diverse body types and style preferences, support merchandising by maintaining visual standards, and ensure the store is organized and inviting. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with fittings, coordinating outfits for events or photo shoots as needed, and sharing product knowledge to help customers build a versatile wardrobe. The Stylist will also support basic operational tasks such as inventory checks, restocking, and collaborating with the store team to meet sales goals while fostering an inclusive, welcoming environment.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong styling and fashion sense, including experience creating cohesive looks, understanding fit and fabric, and advising customers on versatile wardrobe building.
  • Candidates should possess excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to listen actively, build rapport, and provide inclusive, respectful guidance to a diverse clientele.
  • Candidates should possess sales and retail skills, such as suggestive selling, handling POS transactions, and contributing to store performance targets.
