Job description

Title: Overnight Maintenance amp; Security Associate
Reports To: Maintenance Manager
Department: Maintenance
Summary of Position
Responsible for the access and control of all incoming traffic, monitoring and directing vehicles to the appropriate parking lots, and ensuring guest safety by constant surveillance of the Company’s properties.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Stand and greet each car approaching the gatehouse. Check each pass holders car and ensure all guests have their own pass
  • Confirm that guests of pass holders have appropriate guest pass
  • Be polite and informative while speaking with pass holders and guests
  • Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards
  • Notify the office for all club deliveries and guest tours and direct to appropriate area
  • Keep Events Chalkboard current for each week; announce special events of the day and make announcements of current events on sale. Hand out flyers given by management to all vehicles
  • Maintain guest log and POS register as required by the post
  • Ensure the safety of the property by never leaving the gatehouse unattended
  • Notify the front office in case of emergency and escort emergency vehicles to emergency site
  • Enforce rules of the club at all times; lock down gate house at designated time
  • Investigate amp; prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities in a timely manner
  • Be professional by wearing the proper uniform and maintaining appearance
  • Understand company’s ISO management systems, policies, goals, and initiatives and meet the specific responsibilities within these areas.
  • Other duties as assigned and as identified on the duties checklist
Position Requirements
  • Superior customer services skills, strong communication skills and a team player
  • Must be able to work a variety of day, night, weekend, holiday shifts
  • Must have excellent communication skills and able manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Significant time spent on feet in a fast-paced environment, in close proximity to other people
  • Must be able to fulfill the physical demands of the job including the ability to be outdoors and on your feet for 8 hours a day
Knowledge and Experience
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required
Experience: Six (6) months in a hotel/resort setting preferred
Resort/ National Park Concession experience preferred
