Position Overview:
The Security Professional is a multifaceted role that combined security responsibilities with customer service and technological tasks. This unique position ensures the safety and security of the Nashville hub while providing exceptional service to residents and visitors.


Key Responsibilities:

Security Monitoring and Patrol:
o Conduct regular tours to ensure badge access areas are secure and functioning properly.
o Monitor doors using Security Expert software to detect forced entries and doors propped open.
o Oversee 50 CCTV cameras to monitor Schneider areas and ensure security through daily tours.
Visitor Management:
o Manage the visitor management system (Solo insight) to account for every visitor.
o Screen and ID every visitor requesting entry to property, entering their information into Solo insight if not pre-registered.
o Maintain a record of all visitors and ensure their access is appropriately managed.
o Ensure all non-Schneider visitors are escorted by a client employee.
Badge Access Control:
o Grant access to all badges for residents of the client hub via Security Expert.
o Remove access from badges of residents who are terminated or have resigned.
o Inventory and manage 500 badges, researching reports when badges are unaccounted for and revoking unreturned badges to prevent misuse.
Delivery Management:
o Mitigate all deliveries, including UPS, FedEx, Amazon, and especially DoorDash orders, which average 20 per day.
o Ensure deliveries are handled efficiently and securely.
Customer Service:
o Provide directions to meeting rooms throughout the facility.
o Communicate with day porters for any meeting or facility needs.
o Reach out to the client technician or property management team based on the severity and location of the need.
o Submit work orders to property management using Prism and to the client building service queue when repairs or troubleshooting are needed.
o Create a cordial rapport with residents and all contacts to ensure a positive and safe environment.
Skills and Qualifications:
Security Expertise:
o Proficiency in using Security Expert software for monitoring and access control.
o Experience with CCTV systems and visitor management software (Solo insight).
Customer Service:
o Strong interpersonal skills to interact with visitors and residents.
o Ability to provide clear directions and assistance within the facility.
Technological Proficiency:
o Competence in managing and troubleshooting security software and systems.
o Ability to handle and process visitor information accurately.
Organizational Skills:
o Efficiently manage badge inventory and delivery processes.
o Detail-oriented approach to ensure all security protocols are followed.
Work Environment: The Security Professional will work in a dynamic environment, balancing security duties with customer service tasks. The role requires vigilance, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to maintaining a secure and welcoming atmosphere at the clients hub.
