About Us:
Bob Hewes Boats is a fourth-generation, family-owned dealership proudly serving the marine community since 1926. As a leading Yamaha outboard dealer, we are looking for a knowledgeable and driven Yamaha Outboard Sales Specialist to join our team. This is a unique opportunity for someone who understands both the sales and technical side of outboard motors.

Position Overview:
We are seeking an organized, bilingual (English/Spanish) professional with strong Yamaha product knowledge and the ability to manage both customer relationships and inventory planning. This role requires close coordination with Yamaha, our internal sales and service teams, and active participation in boat shows and events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sell Yamaha outboard engines and related products to retail and wholesale customers
  • Provide expert guidance on motor selection, rigging, and applications
  • Maintain strong working relationships with Yamaha factory representatives
  • Manage annual motor ordering and maintain proper stock inventory levels for the dealership
  • Work closely with the service department to ensure seamless customer experience and technical accuracy
  • Assist customers in person, over the phone, and via email with professionalism and product expertise
  • Stay current on Yamaha products, updates, and industry trends
  • Participate in and support dealership presence at boat shows, events, and promotions
  • Maintain an organized workspace and manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Utilize computer systems for inventory, ordering, and customer management

Qualifications:

  • Bilingual (English & Spanish) required
  • Strong knowledge of Yamaha outboards (required)
  • Working knowledge of outboard service, rigging, and parts
  • Experience with inventory management and annual ordering processes
