Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour

Job Summary

The Event Cleaning is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment during and after the FIFA Fan Fest event. This role supports high-traffic operations by providing continuous cleaning services throughout the event and ensuring thorough post-event cleanup to restore the site to operational standards.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a historic international event experience as FIFA Fan Fest brings together fans from around the world for one of the most celebrated sporting events globally. Employees will play an important role in helping create a safe, clean, and memorable environment for guests and visitors throughout the event.

This is an outdoor event position that requires employees to work in varying weather conditions, including rain, heat, cold, and other outdoor elements. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced event environment while maintaining excellent customer service and safety standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness of all event areas, including fan zones, restrooms, walkways, entrances, seating areas, and common spaces throughout operating hours
  • Perform continuous trash removal, recycling, and waste management to support high-volume crowds
  • Clean, sanitize, and restock restrooms and high-touch surfaces to ensure hygiene and sanitation standards are maintained
  • Respond quickly to spills, hazards, and service requests during live event operations
  • Perform post-event cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, pressure washing, and overall site restoration
  • Follow assigned cleaning schedules, operational procedures, and safety protocols at all times
  • Assist with setup and breakdown cleaning for event areas before and after scheduled activities
  • Operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning chemicals safely and properly
  • Communicate maintenance concerns, supply shortages, or safety issues to supervisors promptly
  • Support crowd-friendly operations by maintaining a professional and customer-service-focused presence
  • Work flexible shifts, including evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, holidays, and high-demand event periods
  • Work outdoors in all weather conditions, including rain or shine environments


Qualifications

  • Prior janitorial, custodial, stadium, or event cleaning experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-traffic environment
  • Strong attention to detail, dependability, and time management skills
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
  • Team-oriented mindset with strong communication and customer service skills
  • Must be comfortable working outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions, including rain, heat, humidity, and cold temperatures


Work Environment

This is a temporary seasonal outdoor event position supporting FIFA Fan Fest operations. Employees will work in outdoor event environments and must be able to perform duties safely and effectively in all weather conditions, including rain or shine. The role involves working around large crowds, loud environments, and physically demanding conditions during high-volume event operations.
