About the Role

As our Commercial Support Manager,you'll be the operational leader behind the Commercial Department. Workingalongside the Commercial Manager, you'll ensure the department runs smoothly bycoordinating people, projects, systems, events, and priorities.

If you enjoy being the conductor of theorchestra rather than one of the musicians, this role is for you. You'll createthe structure, coordination, and accountability that allows the CommercialDepartment to perform at its highest level. You'll make sure the right people are doing the right work at the righttime while removing obstacles, improving processes, and keeping everythingmoving forward.

Leading the Reservations and Sales team, youwill coordinate commercial initiatives, oversee key systems and reporting, andact as the operational backbone that allows the Commercial Manager to focus onstrategy, partnerships, and business growth.

KeyResponsibilities

       Lead the day-to-day coordination ofthe Commercial Department, ensuring priorities remain on track.

       Partner with the Commercial Manager toturn strategy into actionable plans, timelines, and deliverables.

       Act as the operational lead when theCommercial Manager is unavailable.

       Serve as the central point ofcoordination between Commercial Operations and Resort Operations.

       Lead and support the Reservations andSales team through coaching, scheduling, and performance management.

       Coordinate departmental meetings,assign action items, and follow through to completion.

       Monitor workloads, competingpriorities, and deadlines while keeping projects moving forward.

       Coordinate commercial projects fromplanning through successful execution.

       Organize and oversee trade shows,fishing derbies, hosted events, FAM tours, and other commercial initiatives.

       Maintain oversight of commercialsystems including reservation software, CRM, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, andAI-enabled tools.

       Identify opportunities to improveworkflows, systems, and operational efficiency through process improvements andtechnology.

       Develop and maintain departmentaldocumentation, SOPs, templates, guidebooks, and knowledge resources.

       Ensure commercial materials, pricinginformation, proposals, and presentations remain accurate and up to date.

       Prepare and monitor departmentalreports, dashboards, forecasts, and KPI reports.

       Identify trends, gaps, and operationalrisks, providing recommendations to improve performance.

       Support budget tracking, vendorcoordination, invoices, and commercial administration.

       Build strong working relationshipsacross departments to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

       Hold team members accountable forcommitments while fostering a positive, high-performing culture.

       Continuously improve the structure,organization, and effectiveness of the Commercial Department by ensuring theright people, systems, and processes work together seamlessly

 

Qualifications

 

       5+ years of experience in tourism,hospitality, administration, reservations, project coordination, or a relatedfield.

       Previous leadership or supervisoryexperience.

       Exceptional organizational and projectmanagement skills.

       Experience managing multiplepriorities and competing deadlines.

       High proficiency with Microsoft 365and commercial technology platforms.

       Strong analytical, reporting, anddocumentation skills.

       A continuous improvement mindset withthe confidence to make decisions and hold others accountable.
