Morning Banquet Supervisor


This role is ideal for someone who loves to hit the ground running early in the morning. Must be able to oversee a small team while providing service for multiple events.


Objective:

To contribute to the overall success of the hotel by providing superior customer service and upholding quality standards for banquet operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Set up, service and clean up banquet events
  • Adheres to quality and industry standards when completingtasks.
  • Follows all grooming and uniformguidelines.
  • Acts as an Ambassador to the hotel including greeting guests, making them feel welcome, and handling basic inquiries.
  • Ensure health and safety practices and WCB regulations are followed.
  • Demonstrates a customer service attitude with internal/externalcontacts.
  • Stock supplies, fold napkins, roll cutlery and clean facilities asrequired.
  • Other tasks as required, including the restaurant if needed

Education & Qualifications:

  • Strong preference for over two years of banquet experience, one year as a banquet supervisor.
  • Must be able to work within a team and with minimal supervision.
  • Resourceful and creative with the ability to work well under pressure and in changing situations.
  • Team player, flexible and energetic.
  • Demonstrated excellence in guest satisfaction.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
