Operations Support Specialist

Paradigm is seeking an Operations Support Specialist to help keep a busy, collaborative workplace running smoothly. In this contract role, you will work closely with leaders and teams to coordinate site events and activities, manage competing priorities, support key administrative and operational processes, and keep important work moving forward. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, takes initiative, and gets satisfaction from bringing organization and efficiency to a fast-moving environment. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across multiple systems and with a range of stakeholders. You will have the opportunity to take ownership of assignments, solve day-to-day problems, and contribute to improvements that make the team more effective.

Duration: Up to 12 months, with possible renewal

Location: Corvallis, OR in office 4 days a week

Assignment lengths are estimated based on the expected load or scope of work. There is a possibility that the work may last longer or finish sooner than anticipated.

What You'll Do:

  • Help plan, coordinate, and execute site events, team activities, and operational meetings, stepping in to resolve issues as they arise.
  • Coordinate requests from multiple leaders and stakeholders, balancing priorities, timelines, and competing needs with professionalism and discretion.
  • Support business systems and administrative processes, including purchasing, records, travel, expenses, and follow-up tracking.
  • Use Smartsheet, SharePoint, Teams, and related tools to organize information, track work, maintain documentation, and support process improvements.
  • Take ownership of assignments, identify gaps or issues, and independently drive tasks and small projects through completion with limited oversight.
