Location: Foxborough, MA, 02035

Experience you will need:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • College Degree with an emphasis in hospitality and/or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field is a plus.

  • Minimum of three years’ experience in catering sales/banquet management in restaurant, hotel, and/or special event sales.

  • Strong knowledge of the practices and procedures of the food and beverage, hospitality, and catering businesses.

  • Working knowledge of sanitation standards, health department regulations, and liquor laws.

  • Knowledge of wine trends and characteristics.

  • Preferred knowledge of Tripleseat, Seven Rooms, and other relevant software.

  • Proficient in Windows Microsoft Office, Toast.

  • Must be 21+ years of age.

What you will be doing:
  • Prospecting groups of all sizes to produce social and business, private dining sales.

  • Respond to incoming leads with proactive solicitations.

  • Consult with Guests to determine the objectives and requirements for events.

  • Handle all group details, including the food and beverage program, menu selections and set up.

  • Assign group function space effectively to maximize revenue.

  • Identify, qualify and solicit new business to achieve company goals.

  • Prepare and send out formal written proposals and banquet event orders.

  • Manage the billing process for events.

  • Participate in Management meetings and review Banquet Event Orders.

  • Grow sales through active prospecting of targeted businesses and event planning.

  • Enter all prospects, contacts, accounts and booking information in software systems.

  • Develop quarterly sales plans and solicit new Guest relationships.

  • Attend and take part in all company-related trainings.

  • Strategize with the General Manager to source, plan, and execute marketing activities.

  • Attend networking events as a brand ambassador.

  • Efficiently schedule and be present for all guest site tours.
