Events Coordinator - Community Outreach

Jamboree Pediatric Dentistry | Houston Region
PRN | Approximately 15-30 Hours Per Week

Schedule & Location
  • PRN schedule averaging approximately 15-30 hours per week
  • Schedule will vary based on community events and outreach needs
  • Some Saturdays required based on scheduled events
  • Primary office: Bissonnet
  • Travel required throughout the Houston region
  • Supports all Jamboree Pediatric Dentistry locations
About the Role

Jamboree Pediatric Dentistry is looking for an energetic and dependable PRN Events Coordinator to support community outreach, events, referral relationships, and local marketing initiatives throughout the Houston region.

This is a hands-on, field-based position. The Events Coordinator will spend time in the community representing Jamboree Pediatric Dentistry, developing relationships with local organizations, attending events, and helping increase awareness and patient referrals.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and attend community outreach events, health fairs, presentations, and other local events.
  • Build relationships with daycares, apartments, churches, pediatricians, physicians, medical offices, and community organizations.
  • Help coordinate 4-5 daycare outreach events per month, including grab-and-go breakfasts and similar initiatives.
  • Research and identify new community events and partnership opportunities.
  • Prepare, organize, transport, and maintain event and outreach materials.
  • Represent Jamboree Pediatric Dentistry professionally at community events.
  • Support referral programs and patient appreciation initiatives.
  • Assist with social media content related to community events and outreach activities.
  • Schedule patient appointments during outreach events when applicable.
  • Track outreach activities and provide information to leadership for Salesforce entry.
  • Assist with referral folders, promotional materials, and inventory.
  • Support events involving Jamboree doctors and team members.
  • Assist with additional community outreach initiatives as needed.
Requirements
  • Availability to work a flexible PRN schedule of approximately 15-30 hours per week.
  • Availability for occasional evenings and Saturdays based on events.
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel throughout the Houston region using a personal vehicle.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Outgoing and comfortable approaching and building relationships with community partners.
  • Highly organized, dependable, and able to work independently.
  • Comfortable representing a pediatric healthcare organization in community and professional settings.
  • Event coordination, community outreach, healthcare marketing, or social media experience preferred.
