Job description

Homeowners Quoting Specialist – State Farm Agent Team Member

Part-Time | In-Office | $19–$23 per Hour
Coconut Creek, FL

Stefanie Bustillo State Farm is looking for a part-time Homeowners Quoting Specialist to run homeowners quotes in our Coconut Creek office.

This is a quoting and support role—not a sales role. You will gather property information, run homeowners quotes through EZLynx and our carrier portals, prepare Citizens takeout and outside-market options, and hand a clean, organized quote package to our licensed agent to present and close. You are the engine behind the quote. Someone else does the selling.

If you enjoy detail work, moving efficiently through rating platforms, and getting things right the first time, this could be a great fit.

Please note: This position requires prior Florida homeowners quoting experience and an active Florida 4-40 Customer Representative license. The work is detailed and process-heavy, and we are not able to train someone from the ground up. If you have not previously quoted Florida homeowners insurance, this position will not be the right fit.

What You’ll Do
  • Gather property details, prior policy information, and client data needed to prepare quotes
  • Run homeowners quotes through EZLynx and carrier or vendor portals
  • Prepare Citizens takeout comparisons and outside-market homeowners options
  • Order and review inspection reports, roof documentation, wind mitigation reports, and 4-point inspection reports
  • Compare coverage and premiums across carriers and clearly summarize the options for the agent
  • Prepare quote presentations, coverage summaries, and supporting documents
  • Enter information accurately into carrier and agency software systems
  • Follow up on outstanding information and documentation needed to complete quotes
  • Maintain accurate notes for every opportunity
  • Follow established agency processes and compliance guidelines
What We’re Looking ForRequired
  • Active Florida 4-40 Customer Representative license
  • Prior experience quoting Florida homeowners insurance
  • High attention to detail—accuracy in property data directly affects the quote
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple open quotes at once
  • Comfortable working in insurance rating and quoting software
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to follow an established process and work efficiently with limited supervision
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to learn new carrier and agency systems
Nice to Have
  • Experience with EZLynx or a comparable agency management or rating system
  • Working knowledge of Citizens Property Insurance and the takeout process
  • Bilingual English/Spanish
Compensation
  • $19–$23 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
  • Performance-based commissions and bonuses in addition to hourly pay
  • W-2 employee position
Schedule
  • Part-time schedule
  • In-office position
  • Specific days and hours will be discussed during the interview process
Location

Stefanie Bustillo State Farm
4855A Coconut Creek Parkway
Coconut Creek, FL 33063

Ready to Apply?

If you have an active Florida 4-40 license, prior Florida homeowners quoting experience, and the attention to detail needed to prepare accurate and organized quotes, we encourage you to apply.
